Installing & Using the launcher:
We have found that on some machines, the launcher runs, but Minecraft crashes when run. The solution was to follow the steps below if you encounter this problem. Hopefully it'll work for most players.

• Before you run the launcher, create a new folder on the desktop.
• Place the launcher.exe into the folder you just created and run it.
